Traditional Bali Cooking Class, Bali Food

Traditional Bali Cooking Class, Bali Food

Bali Food is not just suckling pig and rice alone ... but you will find many types of food in bali bali north, from vegetables to meals with lots of meat, you can do a short course in only 2-3 hours cooking Adjanibali about bali
When you are going on holiday in Bali you do not have to worry about eating rice three times a day as the local Balinese people do. With the influence of expatriates in Bali you can buy just about anything now, even the typical products of your own country.
Restaurant, which is owned by foreigners, offering the choice of cuisine that you will drool when you finish checking the menu. Dishes from every corner of the world are presented, some mixed with a touch of Bali Indonesia or in order to create a sensational new twist.
Fortunately authentic Balinese and Indonesian food is still very much present on the menu at every restaurant, whether it is owned by foreigners or the Balinese themselves. But I have to admit, the best place for food in Bali is a place where you will find the Balinese crowd eating well.
So in this case: do as the locals do.
For die hard and a real cultural experience you can walk into every corner of the street where you will find someone selling all sorts of dishes in place. In a wooden crate strapped to the back of the bike, or in a small restaurant on wheels sellers managed to create a real party with different types of dishes and rice.
You can eat on the spot or have been wrapped in banana leave for you to take home.
Most of these sellers you will find food in the morning, when the Bali grab a bite before starting work or around lunch time with every main road and even on the beach of Lovina
But if this is a bit too much for you (which I totally understand ... You do not want to get the famous "Bali belly" on your vacation) there are other options as well. There are food stalls (small Indonesian stores) that sell local food at local prices.
And to stay on the safe side, even a stall where menus are in English, so this is a place where it can get really crowded with tourists.
In this kind of restaurant you can choose from the menu or go to the table where dozens of dishes are displayed ranging from fish, chicken, and pork dishes, tofu and tempeh prepared in all sorts of styles and vegetables are often cooked in coconut cream sauce is just great with rice white or nasi goreng (fried rice).
You can try everything you want because in the end you will pay for each dish separately. So you can decide for yourself how much you want to ... or could refuse. A great place to try this "stall-way" to eat is in the Public Eating in Poppies II in Kuta and Jalan Raya Warung Ocha in Seminyak.
Local restaurants Bali influenced by other Indonesian islands as well. So besides Balinese food you can also find dishes from other islands as well.
Bali is a real dish Sate Lilit, which are mainly made of snapper filet, shrimp, coconut and a variety of herbs. Many restaurants offer this dish so when you see it on the menu it was definitely worth the try.
Bali other dishes you'll find on the menu often Duck Betutu the roast duck in banana leaves. Many restaurants offer this on their menu, but it takes several hours to prepare so it's better to book the day before.
But if you happen to be in Ubud head to the 'Dirty Duck' which serves this dish every day like it is their specialty.
But what I think is the most famous Balinese dish is Babi Guling, a roasted suckling pig prepared together with a long list of spices. If you talk to Bali about the food they will ask if you have tasted Babi Guling already.
